Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Campaign
There are 3 different types of flu vaccination this season, each of which is specific to a certain age group.
Flu vaccinations for patients who will be aged 65 (or over) by 31st March 2020
We are once again offering weekly and Saturday Flu Clinics for patients who fall in to this age range — that is to say, for those of our patients born ON or BEFORE 31st March 1955.
Flu vaccinations for patients aged 18 to 64 who fall in to an “at risk” group
Deliveries of this particular flu vaccine were delayed this year but appointments during the week — and on some Saturdays — are available for booking now.
Flu vaccinations for patients under the age of 18
The flu vaccination for “at risk” patients under the age of 18 — and for those children born on or between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2017 — has now been made available to General Practices in limited weekly amounts. Whilst appointments for this cohort of patients are currently bookable, therefore, we are only able to offer appointments in line with the amount of vaccine that is released to us on a weekly basis.
