Who is my Named GP?
Many patients will have been informed of the identity of their Named GP either in correspondence sent to them by the Surgery or in the course of conversation with the Bennetts End Surgery clinical team.
If, however, you are a patient at this Surgery and do not know who your Named GP is, in order to find out, please contact the Surgery and we will be pleased to provide you with this information.
What is the purpose of having a Named GP?
Your Named GP is accountable for your overall care here at Bennetts End Surgery. He or she will take lead responsibility for the co-ordination of all contractual services and ensure they are delivered to patients where clinically required. At Bennetts End Surgery you are free to see whichever GP you choose and are under no obligation only to book appointments with your Named GP.
Can I choose who my Named GP is?
Should you express a preference as to which Named GP you are allocated, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
What if my Named GP leaves the Practice?
If your Named GP leaves the Practice or is unable to carry out their duties for a significant period of time, for example, if they go on maternity leave, you will be assigned a replacement Named GP to cover their absence.
